WE HAVE DECIDED TO ALSO ALLOW THIS TO BE A MASQUERADE MASK BALL, ALL MASKS MUST BE BLACK OR BLACK AND WHITE. I WILL BE PROVIDING SOME FOR GUESTS AS WELL. THIS IS TO MAKE IT EASY FOR EVERYONE TO COME OUT OF THEIR SHELLS, FORGET THEIR ANXIETIES AND JUST HAVE A GREAT TIME!
Special note: This will be elegantly done. This will not resemble a childrens party or anything of that nature. This will be classy, mature and more than anything FUN! All Tasteful hints to our love of the Twilight Zone .
The Theme
As you recall on the page where we told you all about us, we love The Twilight Zone.
The show has been done over a few times and Jordan Peele’s version is pretty good. However, nothing will ever replace or be as good as the original Rod Serling version.
Sidenote: his show the Night Gallery is also awesome and you may find it used as the theme of our Rehearsal dinner if you are immediate family or in the Wedding Party.
We have spent many of our 13 years together enjoying the original episodes of The Twilight Zone. So it made perfect sense to use this as our theme. It involves classic colors, black and white and a vintage feel. There are so many episodes of the show that we often find ourselves finding new gems that we overlooked in the past.
I encourage all of you to get very familiar with the show as it will be implemented in several areas of the feel, look and overall decor of the weekend.
THE WEDDING DATE IS MAY 14 2023 AND THE DRESS CODE IS BLACK TIE.
GUESTS ARE ASKED TO WEAR WHITE,GRAY,OR SILVER AS THE WEDDING PARTY WILL BE PRIMARILY IN BLACK.
* For safety I expect,even in the year 2023 to still need masks worn. If you prefer no masks then we will need to see a negative test result or proof of vacine. I hate it but we never want to create a super spreader event and there will be people of all health conditions and ages so safety is crucial*
Masks can be removed during eating and drinking. My plan is to have some available at the wedding for those who don’t wish to buy them. Hopefully by 2023 we have come a long way and these things will not be necessary,but for now this is the plan.
We hope you understand and we hope you will respect it and come and support and share our happiness.
